The Glass Shoppe A Division of Builders Glass of Bonita, Inc. has clear, ultra clear, satin frosted, crackle, back painted and tinted glass options available. We believe that your glass countertop should be a focal point in your home. To maximize opportunity, we recommend 1″ to 1 1/2″ thickness. If that is not thick enough for the design you have in mind, custom countertops up to 3″ thick can be made. Remember, standard clear glass has a green cast that is amplified when your counter is 1 1/2″thick.
We cut and fabricate glass countertops to fit your style and budget. This 3/4″ countertop was a budget-friendly option that doesn’t sacrifice style. We love how this chiseled edge customized the 3/4″ glass into a unique piece!
Decorative Glass Hardware
Hardware for glass countertops is determined during the design process. The Glass Shoppe A Division of Builders Glass of Bonita, Inc. prefers glass standoffs for installation as they will determine how high your glass will sit. A low profile standoff of 3/4″ -1″ is the most common measurement. If you’d like a more dramatic look, we have standoffs 6″ tall available.
If you decide to use a back painted glass countertop, you may not need any hardware! Painted back glass can sit directly on your existing vanity or countertop! Talk about no fuss!
