Thick Glass Countertops are not only functional, but they’re works of art. Texture and movement is cast into glass, shaping your kitchen or dining area into more than just a living space, but also an art piece. At our showroom, we love the sleek look Ultra clear glass gives a room. When iron is removed, glass becomes pure and stunningly clear.
Glass Countertops Turn Homes Into Art
The Glass Shoppe A Division of Builders Glass of Bonita, Inc. takes design into our own hands! We cut and fabricate glass countertops to meet all of your custom design needs. There are endless options for glass countertops. Make the most of the opportunity that the versatility of glass gives you! Our team of artisans and design experts help you determine what thickness of glass is needed and the hardware best suited for the application.
The Glass Shoppe A Division of Builders Glass of Bonita, Inc. has clear, ultra clear, satin frosted, crackle, back painted and tinted glass options available. We believe that your glass countertop should be a focal point in your home. To maximize opportunity, we recommend 1″ to 1 1/2″ thickness. If that is not thick enough for the design you have in mind, custom countertops up to 3″ thick can be made. Remember, standard clear glass has a green cast that is amplified when your counter is 1 1/2″thick.
Decorative Glass Hardware
Hardware for glass countertops is determined during the design process. The Glass Shoppe A Division of Builders Glass of Bonita, Inc. prefers glass standoffs for installation as they will determine how high your glass will sit. A low profile standoff of 3/4″ -1″ is the most common measurement. If you’d like a more dramatic look, we have standoffs 6″ tall available.
If you decide to use a back painted glass countertop, you may not need any hardware! Painted back glass can sit directly on your existing vanity or countertop! Talk about no fuss!
